Why is this program important?
Working in an effective team where members trust each other, understand one another, and achieve strong results is deeply rewarding and helps everyone grow. For international teams, however, this can be especially challenging. Diverse cultural backgrounds bring valuable perspectives but can also complicate collaboration.
To avoid misunderstandings turning into conflict, it is essential to focus on mutual understanding, expectations and teamwork. Teams that learn about each other’s backgrounds and how they build trust make better decisions, support one another, and face challenges with confidence.
What will we do?
We start by getting to know your team and its context. Using two scans, we explore your cultural backgrounds and the way you currently collaborate. The group then prepares for the two-day training, which includes digital, case-based assignments. During the two-day program, we explore the themes in depth through a combination of scientific theory and practical exercises. Afterwards, we return to see how the team is applying its new insights and to provide additional support where needed.
Day One
- Exploring team values.
- Theory: Introduction to culture and trust. How cultures trust differently.
- Lunch with the team.
- ‘The Pyramid’: Examining how effectively the team works together
- Revising the online cases together.
- Dinner with the team.
- ‘Campfire conversation’: A method to get to know each other more deeply.
Day Two:
- Breakfast with the team.
- Theory: Cultural dimensions in your team.
- Developing cross-cultural communication skills.
- Lunch with the team.
